Launch the Learning Clinic
The Learning Clinic
Starting in summer 2021, we are excited to announce we will offer neuroscience-powered reading intervention services for children and young adults who struggle with reading! If your child is falling behind in reading, has low standardized test scores, or has difficulty with reading fluency, decoding (‘sounding out’), or comprehension, we can help with a proven program – Launch The Learning Clinic.
We have a team of reading interventionists trained in Take Flight, an Orton Gillingham, evidence based program. Take Flight includes the 5 essential components of reading instruction (per the National Reading Panel report): phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Launch the Learning Clinic services are for children 5 and up, as well as young adults, who will work with a reading interventionist in small groups of 2-3, matched by age and reading level. Starting in May, we will have a summer intensive program with three, 4-week long sessions meeting Mon-Thurs for an hour daily (see below). The time of day is flexible and we will work with families’ schedules- let us know what you need!
Launch will also have after-school services beginning fall 2021; scheduling will also be flexible for after-school services but we recommend 2-3 sessions per week. At this time we are only offering in-person services but we may have virtual intervention available in the future; stay tuned!
Pricing is per session, inclusive of all materials, progress assessment, and parent conferences, with a discount of one free session when purchasing a package of 16 sessions. We also have financing options.
